The
question
The city of Utrecht asked for a large, contemporary skate park in Leidsche Rijn, befitting the young, fast-growing neighborhood. The park needed to be suitable for both skateboarders and BMX’ers and provide space for sporting events and clinics.
Our solution
SkateOn designed and built a modern concrete skate park of approximately 1,200 square meters. The park offers a varied combination of street and bowl sections, including wide lines and obstacles that also appeal to BMX’ers. Thanks to its central location, it has become an important meeting place for youth in the neighborhood.
