For the Ooltgensplaat core, there was a need for a compact and convenient skate park in the public space. The desire was for a durable concrete skate park that is accessible to youthful beginners, but also offers sufficient challenge for advanced skaters. The park needed to fit within the scale of the village and act as a safe sports and meeting place.
Our solution
SkateOn Skateparks realized a functional, concrete skate park with a logical layout and smooth flow. Through a combination of low entry elements and technical obstacles, the park is widely usable. The skatepark connects well with its surroundings and encourages active use, meeting and sporting development within the community.
