question
The municipality of Zeewolde considered it important that the new skatepark be inviting to young people of all skill levels. The park needed to fit into a green, recreational environment and be low-maintenance. There was also a desire for an open design that feels safe.
Our solution
In 2022, SkateOn designed and constructed a versatile concrete skatepark of approximately 1260 m², aimed at both beginners and advanced skaters. The organic shapes blend in with the natural surroundings. Thanks to the use of sustainable materials and smart drainage, the park is low-maintenance and weather-resistant.
