The
question
For the Dutch National Skateboard Championships 2016, we wanted a temporary indoor skatepark to be built in the Koepelhal in Tilburg. The park had to be challenging for participants at a national level and demountable, so that the hall would be freely available again after the event.
Our solution
In 2016, SkateOn designed and built a temporary competition course of approximately 600 m², fully customized for the Dutch National Skateboard Championships. Obstacles were constructed modularly for rapid assembly and disassembly. The layout offered room for creativity and speed, according to competition standards. After the event, the park was dismantled and reused elsewhere.
