The request
The Municipality of Amsterdam was looking for a builder for an Urban Sports Zone based on the design of the renowned firm Glifberg+Lykke. This design with international appeal, where urban sports converge, is characterized by the large transition elements and decoration with a unique white/blue tile artwork.
Our solution
The result is the largest outdoor skate park in the Netherlands – an impressive part of a grand urban sports park that is part of Amsterdam’s 5-year plan for the development of Urban Sports. It is no less than 3885 square meters in size and offers plenty of space for skateboarders, inline skaters, BMX riders and steppers. A true playground for high-level urban athletes.
